The Disciples of Jesus


THADDAEUS:

Also known as:
-Jude.
-Judas the son of James.
-Lebbaeus.
-His original occupation is unknown.
-He was the son of James (not the disciples James or the brother of Jesus): Luke 6:16.
-There is only one biblical record of him speaking when he expressed his concern for the world: John 14:21-24.
-He ministered in Assyria and Persia.
-Also called Thaddaeus: Matthew 10:3.
-Historical records indicate that he was martyred.
