TO WHOM: Judah

PURPOSE: To warn Judah of their sin and need for repentance and inform of God's future plans for the nation. A first judgment (Joel 1:2-2:17) precedes a greater judgment to follow (Joel 2:18- 3:21).

KEY VERSES: Joel 2:28-29

LIFE AND MINISTRY PRINCIPLE: Even in the midst of corrective judgment, God plans future blessings for His people.
